Mentoring is one of the most crucial parts of Highland Park Community School because of its proven to student success. A young person with a mentor in their life is more likely to fulfill their deeds in education, avoid participation in negative behaviors and even have better communication skills. Our mentors in HPCS is our most trusted 8th graders who are placed in 4 different groups to help 6th and 7th graders behave well, have a person to talk to when you are going through a rough time, and make sure they are all successful in HPCS.
